Indiana High School Football - Wheeler over Boone Grove

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) and the host Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN), witnessed Wheeler's football squad knock off Boone Grove by a tally of 38-20.

The Bearcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gary West Side (Gary, IN). The Cougars enter the Greater South Shore - South contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Gary West Side gained a win over Whiting (Whiting, IN), 54-12, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Wolves battle the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) in a Greater South Shore - North contest, on Friday, September 27. Boone Grove will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Ingots enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 34-31 non-league loss to Griffith (Griffith, IN).
