New York High School Football - Carthage sneaks past Indian River

The Carthage Comets football squad scored 41 points and limited the visiting Indian River Wolves to 38 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Comets now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Camden for a Section 3 B - East test on Thursday, September 26. Carthage will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 48-20 non-league loss to Homer (Homer, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Indian River drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Westhill (Syracuse, NY) to meet the Warriors in a Section 3 B - West test on Thursday, September 26. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-1. Westhill won 36-26 in their recent non-league test against Vernon-Verona-Sherrill (Verona, NY)
