Utah High School Football - Uintah defeats Mountain View

September 20, 2024: Vernal, UT 84078

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT) and the visiting Mountain View Bruins (Orem, UT), witnessed Uintah's football squad topple Mountain View by a count of 44-23.

The Utes (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks enter the 4A Region 8 contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Salem Hills was outscored by Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT), 30-2, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Bruins confront the Timpanogos Timberwolves (Orem, UT) in a 4A Region 8 contest, on Friday, September 27. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Timberwolves enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 48-35 league loss to Provo (Provo, UT).
