In Friday's league challenge, the host Ridgeview Christian Crusaders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the United Christian Academy Crusaders.

The Crusaders (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge Christian edged Cornerstone Christian (Rockingham, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders meet the Mt. Carmel Christian Academy Warriors (Luray, VA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 23. United Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Regents (Charlottesville, VA).
