Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Burleson improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Elks host Joshua (Joshua, TX) to face the Owls in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Owls go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Yellowjackets now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield Timberview for a test on Tuesday, September 24.
