Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ponaganset improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Chieftains host Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI) to encounter the Mounties in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Mounties go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Knights now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponaganset for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. Providence Country Day will encounter a Chieftains squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-3.
