The Newfane Panthers soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Akron Tigers to 1 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Royalton-Hartland for a NO bout on Tuesday, September 24.
With the loss, Akron moves to 2-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Alden (Alden, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
