Fans at Friday's league battle between the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), saw Queen's Grant's soccer squad knock off Sugar Creek by a count of 3-1.

The Stallions (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Grace Academy (Matthews, NC). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Sugar Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Mariners enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).
