In Friday's league test, the Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), by a tally of 12-1.

Next, the Terrors meet the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a 5A Region 1 test, on Monday, September 23. Glynn Academy will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 13-5 record after their 9-3 league win over Statesboro (Statesboro, GA).

The Pirates (8-9) will now prepare for their test against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs go into the 5A Region 1 test with a 13-5 record.
