The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Rockwood Summit Falcons (Fenton, MO) and the visiting Washington Bluejays (Washington, MO), observed Rockwood Summit's softball team get by Washington by a tally of 5-3.

The Falcons (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against Lafayette (Wildwood, MO). The Lancers go into the non-league bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Lafayette tipped Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO), 7-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bluejays clash with the Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 21. Washington will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Statesmen go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Parkway North (St. Louis, MO).
