The Smith-Cotton Tigers softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Waynesville Tigers to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Battle for a non-league battle on Monday, September 23. Smith-Cotton will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Waynesville moves to 4-13 on the season. The Tigers host Nixa (Nixa, MO) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 5-5. Nixa won 8-7 in their recent non-league battle against Joplin (Joplin, MO)
