In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Apple Valley Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Wayzata Trojans.

The Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Wayzata was nudged by New Prague (New Prague, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans play the Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 20. Wayzata will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN).
