The Jefferson Mustangs volleyball squad (San Antonio, TX), dropped 3-0 in Friday's league battle with the host Burbank Bulldogs (San Antonio, TX)

With the win, Burbank improves its record to 26-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to encounter the Matadors in a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Matadors go into the battle with a record of 18-17. Seguin won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Highlands (San Antonio, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brackenridge for a 5A Region IV District 27 battle on Tuesday, September 24. Jefferson will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-20.
