The West Essex Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Columbia Cougars to 1 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Nutley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 24. West Essex will play a Maroon Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Montclair (Montclair, NJ). The Maroon Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Columbia drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ) to play the Chiefs in a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Caldwell lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against West Orange (West Orange, NJ)
