In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Pine Grove Panthers volleyball team scored a close 1-0 victory over the Corinth Warriors.

The Panthers (13-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Jumpertown (Booneville, MS). The Cardinals enter the Class 1A Region 2 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Jumpertown was tipped by Thrasher (Booneville, MS), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Corinth will attempt to upgrade on its 8-22 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 27-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Regents (Oxford, MS).
