In Friday's non-league challenge, the host New Milford Knights volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Emerson Cavaliers.

The Knights (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Midland Park was tipped by Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Fort Lee Bridgemen (Fort Lee, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Emerson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bridgemen enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ).
