Texas High School Volleyball - Ferris over Venus

September 20, 2024: Venus, TX 76084

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Venus Bulldogs.

The Yellowjackets (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Mustangs come into the 4A Region II District 12 challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Life Waxahachie beat Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) in a 4A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Venus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 5-20 record after their 3-1 league loss to Godley (Godley, TX).
