The Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) volleyball knocked off the visiting Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 19-17 record. They play next when they travel to Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 5 game on Friday, September 27.

The Panthers (11-19) will now prepare for their game against Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX). The Rangers go into the 5A Region I District 5 game with a 15-12 record. In their last game, Chisholm Trail gained a win over Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
