Texas High School Volleyball - George West can't get by Three Rivers

The Three Rivers Bulldogs edged the visiting George West Longhorns volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 31 game, on Friday, September 27. Three Rivers will attempt to advance on its 10-14 season record. The Buckaroos go into the game with a 23-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX).

The Longhorns (4-16) will now prepare for their game against Odem (Odem, TX). The Owls go into the 3A Region IV District 29 game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Odem was edged by Robstown (Robstown, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
