Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) supporters were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team top the host Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX), 3-1 in a league contest.

The Brahmas (13-17) will now prepare for their contest against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks enter the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 15-14 record. In their last contest, Palacios was knocked off by Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Raiders meet the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Rice Consolidated will attempt to move on its 13-19 season record. The Cobras enter the contest with a 22-14 record after their 3-0 league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX).
