The Pleasant Grove Hawks topped the host Marshall Mavericks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Hawks face the Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX) in a 4A Region II District 14 game, on Friday, September 27. Pleasant Grove will attempt to advance on its 22-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 22-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX).

The Mavericks (14-17) will now prepare for their game against Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region II District 10 game with a 28-6 record. In their last game, Lufkin gained a win over Tyler (Tyler, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
