The Largo Lions football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Crossland Cavaliers to 6 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gwynn Park for a Class 2A East game on Friday, September 26. Largo will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 27-26 league win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-1.
The Cavaliers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles enter the Class 2A East game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Douglass trounced Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 42-0, in a non-league outing.
