The Chelmsford Lions football squad scored 14 points and held the visiting Andover Golden Warriors to 2 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.

In their next game, the Lions face the Concord-Carlisle Patriots (Concord, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Chelmsford will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA).

The Golden Warriors (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Haverhill (Haverhill, MA). The Hillies come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.
