In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting University Prep Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Las Plumas Thunderbirds.

With the win, University Prep improves its record to 24-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA) to face the Eagles in a test on Tuesday, September 23. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-2. West Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Orland (Orland, CA)

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orland for a challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Las Plumas will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.
