The Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME) soccer nipped the host Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME), 1-0 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Lions now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Blue for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22.
Next up, the Mariners battle the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 25. Oceanside will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME).
