La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0 in a non-league outing.
The Bears (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Sandia by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Ravens confront the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 22. Rio Grande will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
