The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) and the host Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO), observed Alamosa's softball team get by Lamar by a tally of 10-5.

The Mean Moose (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Cowboys go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

The Thunder now hold a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Rocky Ford for a contest on Tuesday, September 23.
