In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons.

The Cougars (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Braden River (Bradenton, FL). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Braden River went down by Bradenton Christian (Bradenton, FL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Fightin' Tarpons now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverview Sarasota for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. Charlotte will play a Rams team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Rams record now stands at 12-3.
