The Red Devils (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Carterville was overwhelmed by Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Hawks confront the Mater Dei Knights (Breese, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 23. Gibault Catholic will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Granite City (Granite City, IL).
