Nevada High School Soccer - Hug nudges North Valleys

In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Hug Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the North Valleys Panthers.

The Hawks (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against McQueen (Reno, NV). The Lancers go into the 5A Northern - High Desert outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, McQueen was edged by Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 24. North Valleys will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Miners go into the outing with a 1-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Carson (Carson City, NV).
