Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets come into the North Central challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Iowa Falls-Alden was beaten by Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Clarion-Goldfield Cowboys (Clarion, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Clear Lake will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
