North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County over Brevard

September 20, 2025: West Jefferson, NC 28694

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) and the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), saw Ashe County's volleyball squad achieve victory over Brevard by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Ashe County improves its record to 16-4 on the season. The Huskies host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Alexander Central won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Freedom (Morganton, NC)

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Brevard will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Owen (Black Mountain, NC).
