The Barbe Buccaneers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ruston Bearcats to 1 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Buccaneers now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Sam Houston for a non-league game on Saturday, September 20. Barbe will confront a Broncos squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 7-3.
The Bearcats (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies go into the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Newman nudged Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
