Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Redwings (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Downers Grove North beat Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolves meet the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Prairie Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL).
