The Northmen (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Lakewood was defeated by Portland (Portland, MI), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Cardinals now own a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant for a Central State battle on Tuesday, September 23. Big Rapids will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Saranac (Saranac, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 14-8.
