In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Big Spring Steers volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Snyder Tigers.

Next up, the Steers face the Frenship Memorial Panthers (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 game, on Tuesday, September 23. Big Spring will attempt to advance on its 10-12 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 18-7 record after their 3-2 league win over Levelland (Levelland, TX).

The Tigers (9-15) will now prepare for their game against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors go into the 4A Region I District 5 game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, Estacado went down by Liberty (Lubbock, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.
