In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Xavier Saints.

The Bluejays (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Boone (Boone, IA). The Toreadors come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Boone edged Ogden (Ogden, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Saints meet the Kennedy Cougars (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Xavier will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Muscatine (Muscatine, IA).
