Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE) and the host Buena Vista Bison (Omaha, NE), observed Wilber-Clatonia's volleyball team top Buena Vista by a count of 2-0.

The Wolverines (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Utica, NE). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Centennial was knocked off by Wood River (Wood River, NE), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bison meet the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 20. Buena Vista will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Titans go into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE).
