In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Central of Clay County Volunteers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Woodland Bobcats.

The Volunteers (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Handley (Roanoke, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Handley nudged Beulah (Valley, AL), 3-0, in a non-league game.

The Bobcats (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Reeltown (Notasulga, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Reeltown nudged LaFayette (LaFayette, AL), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
