Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now have a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Wapsie Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Janesville will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Union (La Porte City, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Columbus drops to 3-15 on the campaign. The Sailors host Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 23. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 12-7. Gladbrook-Reinbeck lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
