In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Crab Orchard Trojans.

The Tornadoes (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Marissa (Marissa, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Marissa went down by Carlyle (Carlyle, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pope County for a Greater Egyptian test on Monday, September 22. Crab Orchard will face a Pirates squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Thompsonville (Thompsonville, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 5-9.
