With the win, West Liberty advances its record to 9-6 on the season. The Comets host West Branch (West Branch, IA) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Bears go into the test with a record of 6-8. West Branch won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA)

The Bears now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Keokuk for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Danville will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, IA). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-10.
