The Grundy Center Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Dunkerton Raiders to 1 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now possess a 18-2 record. They play next when they host East Marshall for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. Grundy Center will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Dunkerton drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Clarksville (Clarksville, IA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-14.
