The Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO) volleyball knocked off the visiting East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

With the win, Pierce City improves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to School of the Ozarks (Point Lookout, MO) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 11-2. School of the Ozarks lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Fordland (Fordland, MO)

Next, the Patriots meet the Aurora Houn Dawgs (Aurora, MO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 23. East Newton will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Houn Dawgs enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Springfield, MO).
