In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Ellington Whippets volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Valley Vikings.
The Whippets (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fredericktown (Fredericktown, MO). The Black Cats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Fredericktown achieved victory over West County (Leadwood, MO), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellington for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Valley will face a Whippets squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fredericktown (Fredericktown, MO). The Whippets record now stands at 11-3.
