Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) and the visiting Kaneland Knights (Maple Park, IL), observed Glenbard East's volleyball team top Kaneland by a count of 2-0.

The Rams (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Riverside-Brookfield achieved victory over West Chicago (West Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinsdale South for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Kaneland will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 9-9.
