Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) and the visiting Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL), observed Rich Township's volleyball team top Hancock by a tally of 2-0.

The Raptors (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Falcons go into the Southland test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Thornridge was defeated by Thornton (Harvey, IL), 2-1, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bremen for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Hancock will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Braves record now stands at 3-12.
