The Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings (Vinton, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 23. Independence will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 15-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
