Texas High School Volleyball - Shiner overwhelmed by Jones

Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Shiner Comanches (Shiner, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (29-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sinton (Sinton, TX). The Pirates come into the 4A Region IV District 30 challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Sinton beat Yorktown (Yorktown, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comanches face the Flatonia Bulldogs (Flatonia, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 27 game, on Tuesday, September 23. Shiner will attempt to advance on its 16-13 season record.
