Alaska High School Volleyball - Juneau-Douglas over Sitka

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sitka Wolves.

The Crimson Bears (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Bettye Davis East Anchorage was beaten by South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolves meet the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves (Sitka, AK) in a 3A Southeast challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Sitka will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 6-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Nikiski (Nikiski, AK).
